I’m not going to go into detail about this at this point (but I probably will in a future post once we’ve got this behind us), but let’s just say we wouldn’t suggest using mortgage brokers. Our experience has been shoddy workmanship, lack of client understanding, and an incredibly slow process.
Do not assume the brokers are working in your best interest. They are not. They work for the lenders, and probably have preferred lenders.
